There was plenty of controversy connected with Darren Aronofsky’s Noah, but that ship has sailed.
Thimblerig’s Ark is still here!
Thimblerig’s Ark is a middle grade novel that tells the animal’s story of Noah’s Ark, and it’s actually been said that Christians will be offended by reading it. Of course, I found this to be ludicrous, but someone felt that way, so – whatever.
If you haven’t, head on over to Amazon and download Thimblerig’s Ark, and find out what I’m talking about!
Read it, loved it! I heard Felix of Nola; Ezekiel; and grace, grace, and more grace. Beautiful and gruesome and sovereign. Thank you. I suspect, from some of your other writing, that grace and sovereignty are life lessons you’ve learned in a particularly intimate and experiential way in recent times. Great for us to learn of them from you. Forgiveness and sovereignty are my deepest, most painful and victorious lessons at present. Many great reminders in ‘Thimblerig’s Ark’.
Thank you so much for the encouragement, Gina Marie. And the best part is – you got it! I got a couple of negative reviews on Amazon from folks who missed it completely, so I’m glad to know that it was actually there like I thought it was! I’d love it if you shared these thoughts on Amazon if you get the time.
Blessings!
Nate
No problem. Keep thinking, keep writing.
